Job description
A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a passionate and committed Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is confident delivering engaging MFL lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will be able to inspire pupils, promote a love of languages, and contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
The role will involve:

Teaching MFL (French and/or Spanish) to KS3 and KS4 pupils

Planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons that meet curriculum requirements

Assessing, tracking, and supporting pupil progress

Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

Working collaboratively within a supportive MFL department
The school is looking for someone who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Has experience teaching MFL in a UK secondary school setting
-
Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills

Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
