Behaviour Management Teaching Assistant – Swansea

Salary: £89–£95 a day

About the Role
As a Behaviour Management Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with behavioural, social, and emotional needs
- Implement behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques
- Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and SENCOs
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support
- Promote a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidate
We want to hear from you if you have:
- Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour (school, youth work, PRU, residential care, coaching, etc.)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A resilient, patient, and empathetic approach
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
- A genuine passion for helping young people grow and succeed
Team-Teach, PBM, MAPA, or similar behaviour-support training is highly desirable, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
