Job description

Are you a compassionate and highly skilled educator dedicated to aiding students navigating mental health obstacles?

TP Tutors seeks tutors for personalized 1:1 sessions, starting promptly. Ideally, we seek educators with teaching or education-related qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalised support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, addressing issues like anxiety and depression, to foster their academic engagement.

  • Collaborate with teachers and professionals to devise and execute tailored learning plans, considering each student's unique requirements, strengths, and growth areas.

  • Employ various strategies and materials to encourage positive behavior management and emotional regulation in 1:1 settings.

  • Assist students in cultivating crucial life skills such as, Maths, English,communication, resilience, and self-regulation

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance expertise in supporting SEMH students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
