Job description

TP Tutors, in collaboration with local authorities, is dedicated to offering personalised one-on-one tutoring to children in care. Our goal is to bridge educational disparities and empower children to reach their fullest potential.

As the demand for tuition ahead of GCSE exams rises, we are actively seeking core subject specialists to join our team and meet this need. While our focus is on KS1 and KS2 pupils, we welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds.

What will you do?

  • Provide tailored one-on-one support in core subjects such as Maths, English, or Primary education.
  • Develop individualised learning programs to suit each student's needs.
  • Conduct tutoring sessions within the comfort of the student's home, primarily in the Nottingham area, particularly Mansfield.
  • Customise your teaching approach to facilitate learning and progression at the student's own pace.

What do you need?

  • Hold a QTS/PGCE/Teaching certificate or possess relevant experience in private tutoring.
  • Exhibit boundless enthusiasm and patience.
  • Demonstrate experience working with either primary or secondary school students.
  • Ideally, have some experience working with young people with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Be flexible and adaptable to effectively cater to the diverse learning needs of all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
