Core Tutor

TP Tutors is currently in search of experienced teachers/tutors to deliver English and Maths tuition in the Bingham (NG13) area. As a one-on-one tutor, you'll be responsible for designing and executing catch-up programs for children in care or those currently not attending school.

With a growing demand for tuition, especially to support students preparing for their GCSEs, we are particularly interested in specialists in core subjects. However, we welcome applicants from diverse educational backgrounds, including those skilled in guiding KS1 and KS2 pupils.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but we do accept other teaching qualifications
• Previous experience working with primary or secondary aged children
• A passionate, engaging, and resilient demeanor

Desirable qualities include:

• Prior experience in tutoring children
• Experience dealing with challenging behavior
• A solid understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) or a willingness to learn
