Job Description:
Are you a passionate and dedicated educator looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in a student's life? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a Secondary Home Tutor to provide one-on-one tutoring to secondary school students in Worksop, Nottinghamshire.
As a Secondary Home Tutor, you will work closely with individual students to deliver tailored lessons that cater to their specific needs and learning styles. This role offers a unique chance to have a positive impact on a student's academic progress and overall educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring to secondary school students in various subjects, including but not limited to Mathematics, English, Science, and Humanities.
- Assess the student's current level of understanding and create a customized learning plan to address their specific learning needs.
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that help students improve their subject knowledge and academic performance.
- Monitor and track the student's progress, adjusting the teaching approach as needed.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment that boosts the student's confidence and motivation.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and Teaching Personnel to provide updates on the student's progress.
Qualifications:
- A degree in education or a relevant subject area..
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience, especially in a one-on-one setting.
- Full driving license or ability to travel to students homes across Worksoip
- Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
- A enhanced DBS is requied but support will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
