One of my wonderful SEN schools located within the Buornemouth area are currently looking to recruit an outstanding Teaching Assistant to join their welcoming, friendly and caring team.
This position is for a large special school for young people aged 2 - 19 years old and provides an education for young people with SLD, PMLD and Primary aged children with social, emotional and mental health needs.
This school is a caring, supportive and fun place to be that has young people at the heart of everything it does. They are committed to the rights of their young people to receive an appropriate and meaningful education and believe that it is essential to celebrate the smallest steps of achievement.
You will need;
* Experience of working with students with profound and multiple learning disabilities - PMLD.
* A willingness to pick up the skills necessary across other sections in the school
* To assist in instilling enjoyment into lessons
* Experience working 1-1 or with small groups if ASD Pupils
