Social Emotional & Mental Health Support Assistants Required

  • Team Teach training is desirable
  • Specific training subsidised when necessary
  • Regular work within your area

Our SEN branch work closely with a PRU in Torfaen who have asked us to recruit strong teaching assistants that are not fazed by challenging situations that you may be faced with. You will be working alongside the teacher to support the adapted curriculum in this specialist provision. If you are keen to positively impact a young person's life this is an ideal opportunity for you.

Team Teach training is beneficial but not essential as we are running training in October Half Term. SEMH provisions & PRU's have a sense of togetherness and this comes across as soon as you enter the school. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
