The Role
This position is for a full time science Teacher. A suitable candidate should be experienced delivering science across all 3 specialisms to GCSE level. Although all specialisms would be considered, a Chemistry specialist would be preferred. The school follows AQA science across both GCSE, so experience working with this exam board would be preferable, however, not essential. Starting in September, for a suitable candidate it will be a permanent role.
The School
The school has been graded “Good” in all areas by Ofsted in a recent inspection. The school has exceptionally high standards for both pupil behaviour in school and attitudes to learning. For a candidate to be considered they should be able to uphold these high standards in their own teaching. being part of a nationally recognised Teaching School cluster there is a wide variety of training opportunities. The school are seeking a member of staff who is committed to their own development. An extensive induction programme is available for NQT’s considering this role.
