An inspirational, enthusiastic and committed teacher of Science is required to join an experienced team working together closely in a well-resourced, efficient department. This position is required, initially, for 12 months. This would be an excellent opportunity for an NQT looking to start their career in a proactive and forward thinking school.
The position available is to take up a 0.8 timetable. However, if needed there is a posibility that this could be made up to full time with General Cover.
Applications are invited from both experienced practitioners and those new to the profession. The department currently comprises of 5 full-time teachers and 4 part-time teachers. The Head of Department is supported by a KS3 co-ordinator and a KS4 coordinator.
The Science Department has a long tradition of academic excellence. The successful candidate is likely to have an interest in, and be able to make some contribution to, co-curricular activities.

- Be an effective team member
- Be able meet deadlines and work under pressure

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
