Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in Northamptonshire to recruit an inspirational and enthusiastic Teacher of Geography.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop their practice within a supportive and innovative Humanities department.
The Role
The successful candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Geography or a related subject

Have experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
-
Demonstrate a strong track record of securing positive outcomes for students
-
Be confident using IT to support effective teaching and learning
-
Be committed to ongoing professional development
-
Be an effective form tutor who recognises the importance of pastoral care
-
Share a belief that students make the best progress when teaching is well planned and delivered to a high standard
-
Champion a values-led education and contribute positively to the wider school community
You will be joining a welcoming and collaborative Humanities team that is committed to high standards, creativity, and continuous improvement.
