Drama Teacher opportunity - Gosport

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a school based in Gosport to appoint a Drama Teacher within its expressive Art Faculty. This is a full time role that may lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.

The School is a successful Multi Academy trust that recently retained its 'Good' status at its latest Ofsted, with particular mention for the students enjoyment of the breadth of the curriculum and its opportunities it presents. Staff are specialists in their subjects, leading mentoring and coaching programmes across the Academies to ensure all teachers are working collaboratively to high standards.

The Drama department continues to be popular throughout the school. KS3 enjoy the chance to experience this subject with their passionate and enthusiastic teachers with many taking Drama into their KS4 studies. The subject offers many curriculum based activities within the school but of course offer a huge range of extra curricular activities that are often student led with the support of the team.

This position requires

**The ability to coordinate with the department and deliver KS3 and KS4 lessons

**Liaise with the Head of Department to provide feedback and innovative ideas

**Help to oversee student led activities within the department

**Raise the profile of Drama within the School

**Fully qualified teacher with UK QTS or equivalent
