 Full-Time Science Teacher – Solihull (B91)

Pay: To scale (MPS/UPS)

Start Date: September 2025

Location: Solihull, B91

Contract: Potential temp-to-perm opportunity

The ideal candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Excellent recent school-based references

Fantastic knowledge of the UK Science National Curriculum

A specialism in one of the three core science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)

Confidence and ability to teach across all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)

Experience or willingness to teach Year 7-13; A-Level teaching experience is a strong bonus

Key responsibilities:

Plan and deliver a broad range of engaging science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5

Regularly assess pupil progress, providing timely feedback and tailored interventions to support learning

Manage classroom behaviour effectively, especially during practical lessons with strict attention to health and safety protocols

Contribute actively to extra-curricular activities to inspire and encourage a passion for science among pupils
