Teaching Personnel are working with a number of schools in North East London that are seeking fully qualified science teachers to work full-time in both long term and short term positions. The schools boast "Outstanding" or "Good" ratings from Ofsted and all achieve impressive exam results at GCSE and A-level. The schools each have unique and effective behaviour policies in place to create an ideal environment for teaching.

The Role

These roles are for fully qualified science teachers with experience teaching classes of 30 up to Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 is desirable but not essential), as well as supervising a class undergoing a practical task. We have vacancies teaching general science, as well as physics, chemistry and biology as individual subjects. You will be working full time in a high achieving department and must have the ability to motivate students so that they achieve their full potential.

Requirements

• You must possess a DBS on the updated service or be prepared to apply for one.
• A UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE).
• A degree in Science or similar subject, including supervising a class undergoing a pratical task.
• Have experience teaching science to classes of 30.
• Have a passion for education and teaching science.
