School in Dagenham is seeking a Science Teacher (Full Time)
The School
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified Science Teacher at a historic school in the Dagenham Area. The School has received a "GOOD" standard from Ofsted and achieved exam results above the national average consistently over the last 3 years and are still improving year after year. They are also one of the best schools in London for student progression. The School believe that their students learn best when they are interested, motivated, given engaging lessons and regular feedback, feel valued and secure. The school also has a behaviour policy in place to make sure all pupils create a learning environment for this to take place.
The Role
The school is looking to hire a full time Science Teacher to work in a department that engages student's interest in the subject by delivering academic and practical lessons. You will have a passion for science and a determination to pass that onto your students.
Requirements
- A UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE)
- Fully qualified to degree level in a Science subject.
- Experience as a Science Teacher at KS3 and KS4 - KS5 would be an advantage.
- Have experience managing a classroom undergoing a practical science task.
- A determined attitude able to motivate and engage pupils into the subject area.
