NQT of Science Required in Gosport
A forward-thinking secondary school in Gosport is looking for an enthusiastic Science teacher to join their team in January.
About the role

You will be working within an established department comprising of extremely supportive and collaborative practitioners. As a developing classroom teacher, you will also have access to the school’s highly regarded internal CPD programme, and will receive support from one of the school’s lead practitioners. The school is committed to providing an aspirational and diverse curriculum to help students engage in their learning and reach for opportunities in subjects they enjoy and thrive in beyond school.This is a full-time role, with the genuine opportunity for a permanent position following a successful induction period. swift progression for teachers who demonstrate commitment and passion for the school.
The school has a longstanding STEM team committed to the development of cross curricular projects to engage their students with STEM based subjects. Most recently they have introduced Art within the focus to allow creative students to further access their programme and develop their skills both within the curriculum and then outside of the curricular activities.
About you

A qualified teacher with a formal teaching qualification

Confident teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 to a range of abilities

A passion for your subject and education in general

Ability to think on your feet and adapt to new environments

A desire to work as a team with the rest of the department and the school

The school is located within proximity of local bus routes but is most easily accessed via car. The school provide on-site parking within a gated car park accessed only by its staff.
