Science Intervention Teacher required for Wimbledon - September 2018.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both General Science teaching and in raising attainment levels. The role will involve tracking attainment levels, assessing the particular requirements of each student, putting in place action plans to improve grades, and putting in place the resources to achieve realistic targets.

The role suits those teachers looking for either a long term or a permanent position.

Teachers who have a strong General Science, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology background who want to be more involved in small group teaching and one-to-one tuition should also apply.

The School is dedicated to improving grades at all levels, and helping students to be the best that they can be. In particular, your role will focus on improving the school's GSCE A-C record within Science.

The school is very friendly with a good atmosphere, but serious about ensuring the students get the most of their education. Situated in a leafy pleasant suburb, within easy reach of Wimbledon, it also a very quick commute from London Waterloo.

Teaching Personnel is committed to supporting teachers who want to get into intervention and one-to-one or small group support, and we are dedicated to helping schools to narrow the attainment gap and to help schools show the levels of attainment improvement required with Pupil Premium . All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
