A forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Levenshulme is looking for a dedicated Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, particularly if you're looking to pursue a career in education, tutoring, or science communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (Biology, Chemistry & Physics)

• Provide 1:1 or small group support for students needing extra help in understanding scientific concepts

• Assist in preparing practical experiments and managing lab equipment

• Support classroom behaviour and promote a safe and productive learning environment

• Work alongside the Science department to track student progress and contribute to intervention strategies

Ideal Candidate:

• A recent graduate in a Science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related)

• Passionate about education, STEM, and supporting young learners

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Organised, proactive, and able to work as part of a team

• Previous experience working with young people or in a school setting is desirable, but not essential
