Maths Intervention Specialist – Secondary School in Levenshulme
Start Date: September 2025 | Full-Time | Daily Pay: £89 – £100

Are you passionate about Maths and skilled at breaking down complex concepts for young learners? A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Levenshulme is seeking a Maths Intervention Specialist to join their team in September 2025.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong Maths background who is keen to support students in building confidence and achieving their full potential—particularly those who need extra support ahead of key assessments.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver focused 1:1 and small group Maths interventions across KS3 and KS4

  • Work closely with the Maths department to identify and support target students

  • Support classroom learning and help differentiate content for pupils with varying needs

  • Track student progress and adapt intervention strategies accordingly

  • Build positive working relationships with pupils to encourage motivation and engagement

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong subject knowledge in Maths (graduate or equivalent level)

  • Previous experience tutoring or supporting Maths in a school setting is desirable

  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Passionate about raising attainment and supporting learners of all abilities

  • Proactive, organised, and committed to making a positive impact

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
