A forward-thinking secondary school in Audenshaw is looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Science Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced Science teachers, support students with a passion for STEM, and gain first-hand experience of life in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons

• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group intervention for students needing extra support

• Assist in practical lessons, helping with equipment setup and safety

• Encourage student engagement and confidence in science-based learning

• Work closely with teaching staff to track progress and adapt support strategies

Ideal Candidate:

• A recent graduate in a Science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Biomedical Sciences, etc.)

• Passionate about science education and student development

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Patient, proactive, and keen to gain classroom experience

• Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
