Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary/secondary school in Rochdale this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience, support students in their learning journey, and develop valuable skills for a future career in teaching or education.
The Role:

Supporting teachers with the delivery of lessons across a range of subjects

Working one-to-one or with small groups of students who need additional support

Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

Assisting with classroom management and lesson preparation

Encouraging student engagement and motivation
Ideal Candidate:
-
A recent graduate (any discipline considered, education-related degrees desirable)
-
Passionate about working with young people and helping them succeed
-
Confident, patient, and proactive with excellent communication skills
-
Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is an advantage

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
