Science Graduate TA - Oldham

Have you recently graduated in one of the Science's and are seeking a TA position?

Do you want to gain classroom based experience before going on to your PGCE?

A secondary school located in Oldham are seeking a Science Graduate to work as a TA within the Science department. This Science TA vacancy is for a full time, on going position starting from September. The position is for 1 academic year initially, with the possibility to continue. The school is seeking a Science Graduate TA who can confidently support and engage with pupils across the year group. The successful Science TA will be able to effectively support classroom teacher within the Science department, in both practical and theory lessons.

As a Science Graduate TA, you will be supporting across the Key Stages within the Science department. You will be working with pupils both in and out of the classroom, supporting in both practical and theory lessons. You will also be working with pupils on a small group and 1:1 basis, providing intervention and support.

Main Points of Science Graduate TA position:

  • Science Graduate TA role available
  • Full time position for 1 year initially
  • September start
  • £285 - £325 per day, depending on experience
  • 'Good' Ofsted graded Oldham school
