Teaching Personnel is working with a school based in the city centre of Birmingham, who are looking for a School Admin Assistant and Exam Officer . The role we have is full time and to start immediately, and will be temporary and on-going. Applicants will ideally have previous experience as an Exam Officer in schools or have experience working within school administration or a similar office environment at least. .
Duties will include;
+ Strong communication skills to liaise with parents and other staff
+ Monitoring whole school attendance, persistent absence and punctuality
+ On going monitoring of attendance for students
+ Identify students who require support with their attendance
+ Liaise with Senior Leadership Team, Heads of House and Tutors, SENCo, inclusion team and other relevant staff regarding students who are of concern
+ Raise attendance issues with parents
+ Meet with both students and parents in order to support them to improve attendance
. +Undertaking daily truancy call alerts to parents whose children have not turned up for school.
+Marking registers in SIMs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
