ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED COVER SUPERVISOR?

OR

DO YOU HAVE A PASSION FOR EDUCATION & YOU ARE CONFIDENT IN TAKING ON A ROLE AS A COVER SUPERVISOR?

 

The team at Teaching Personnel are working closely with a number of schools around the B36 area to appoint day-to-day and flexible cover supervisors. Individuals who are confident, reliable and positive, who can be called upon to go and cover within our partner secondary schools on a day-to-day basis, are who we are seeking for this role.

You will need to accurately follow lesson plans and confidently step in, in the absence of the main class teacher.

 

Hours: Flexible

Start: September 2025

Rate of Pay: £95-135 per day, dependent upon experiences/qualifications

Location: Birmingham, B36

 

Requirements:

-Previous experience as a cover supervisor, HLTA or TA

- Previous experience working within childcare/education settings

- Graduates with a passion for education are encouraged to apply

- Confident behaviour management techniques and strong classroom presence

- Be able to follow lesson plans and deliver engaging pre-prepared lessons to groups of up to 30 students in a mainstream secondary school

- Enhanced, child only DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
