Role
Teaching Personnel are looking for a Fully Qualified or Newly Qualified Teacher for a full-time teaching post starting in the new academic year (3rd September 2018) for a 1 year fixed term contract to cover a maternity. The school is located in Leeds Chapel Allerton, LS7 just a short journey away from the Leeds City Centre with excellent public transport route directly to the Academy. The role will be full-time teaching in a Reception class with 32 pupils currently on roll. All pupils are working above and towards there Early Learning goals and are working between Phases 1-2 in their Phonics.
Ideal candidate
The school are looking for a:
- Fully qualified or Newly qualified teacher who has previous experience teaching in EYFS
- Phonics experience
- Available full-time
- DBS

The Academy received 'Good' at its last Ofsted in 2016 and last year all pupils in Reception made good progress when working towards their Early Learning Goals. The Academy have a very friendly and supportive Senior Leadership Team who are looking for a Teacher who is passionate about teaching in EYFS and who is willing to go the extra mile with the class to get them where they need to be for Year 1 next year.
Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as; Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.
These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training. The CPD on offer will assist with your personal and career development, making you the most highly sought candidates in the market.
