Reception Teacher

This full time role will be covering a maternity starting from February 2020 and will carry on until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will have recent previous experience teaching in reception. The school is known within the local community for delivering a vibrant and diverse curriculum to engage all students.

The reception class has a higher percentage of pupils with special educational needs and health care plans so experience differentiating lesson plans for children with additional needs is essential. The school has a reputation for being inclusive and pupils make good progress in reading, writing and maths throughout both Key Stages.

The school is looking for a Reception Teacher with/who is:

  • ‘Qualified teacher status’
  • An understanding and knowledge of the curriculum and experience working in an EYFS and Reception.
  • Enthusiastic and is committed to high standards, has high expectations of behaviour
  • Enthusiastic about providing exciting learning experiences for the children in a cross curricular context
  • Newly Qualified teachers encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
