Teaching Assistant (Classroom Support) – Primary Schools in Doncaster

Pay: £90 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Doncaster to recruit General Teaching Assistants to provide classroom support.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working as part of a classroom team and supporting pupils’ learning across the primary age range.

The Role:

• Providing general classroom support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2

• Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation

• Working with small groups and individual pupils to support learning

• Assisting with behaviour management and maintaining a positive learning environment

• Helping to prepare resources and support day-to-day classroom activities

• Promoting inclusion and supporting pupil wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has experience working with children in a primary school setting (desirable but not essential)

• Is reliable, enthusiastic, and proactive

• Demonstrates good communication and teamwork skills

• Is committed to safeguarding and supporting pupils’ development

• Holds a relevant TA qualification (desirable but not essential)
