Reception Teacher, Islington
A lovely mainstream school in Islington (EC1) are recruiting for a Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team.
This is a one form entry federated school. The executive head teacher works across two schools. This federation works within the context of Christian belief and practice, we aim to serve the community by providing an education of the highest quality over both schools. Our vision for the federation is that every child will thrive s both schools provide a broad range of opportunities where teaching is outstanding and makes a high impact upon learning and achievement. Reception Teacher

Experience teaching Reception and a sound understanding of the curriculum

Successful Reception Teacher:
- The successful applicant needs to have a team player attitude
- The teacher must be extremely driven, reliable and hard-working
- Teacher displays a clear and thorough understanding of the curriculum
- Secure knowledge and skills relating to strategies in working with pupils of all achievement levels.
- An interest, motivation and passion for working with special needs children and developing skills to facilitate this
- Ability to self-evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities
