Pay Rate: £90 – £100 per day

About the Role
One of our partner schools l is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs. This role involves working closely with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) including a range of SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), and MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties).

You will play a key role in helping students access the curriculum, develop confidence, and reach their full potential within a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN.

• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.

• Support pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and MLD needs in both academic and social development.

• Help manage behaviour positively and encourage engagement in lessons.

• Adapt resources and learning approaches to meet individual student needs.

• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

Requirements

• Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or MLD, is highly desirable (NOT ESSENTIAL)

• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with children.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

• Relevant qualifications or previous experience in education, care, or support work are advantageous.

• Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child Only), or willingness to apply.
