Due to an unexpected leave of absence, there is a need for a Humanities specialist to join a highly regarded, modern secondary.

The school are seeking a Religious Studies teacher who is confident delivering the subject at Key Stage 3 level to cover an absence for the remainder of this year.

  • Full time teaching timetable, Religious Studies
  • Immediate start date – school willing to wait for the most suitable applicant
  • Based in North Manchester
  • Excellent facilities in modern building
  • Earn in line with teaching scale point (MPS/UPS)

This position would be an excellent opportunity for any level of teacher, including those who have newly qualified into the profession. The school will provide resources and schemes of work, but the incoming member of staff will have responsibility for marking future work, as well as planning for the remainder of this year.

The school is situated in Manchester and holds an excellent reputation in the local community as one of the schools of choice for students and parents alike. With good accessibility to Manchester, Bury and Rochdale via several transport links, this is an exciting proposition for potential applicants.
