Psychology Graduate

I am currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work in a SEMH School located within the Salford area. The school caters for young people from 7-16 Years old and focuses on their emotional as well as academic development.

The school caters for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH) as well as other difficulties including ADHD and Autism. This specialist provisions is looking for enthusiastic team players who enjoy a challenge.

Sometimes this requires working one-to-one or with a small group of pupils, as well as working to generally supports the class. A school in Salford are currently looking for teaching assistants to work one-to-one with small groups of pupils, as well as working to generally support the class.

The ideal candidate would be Team Teach trained. Experience working as a one-to-one teaching assistant would be beneficial, as well as experience as a general teaching assistant.

Having experience in supporting children who display challenging behaviour or have a variety of SEN is not essential but beneficial to fully flourish within this role. However, experience of a Sporting background in coaching or teaching would be desired but not essential.
