Psychology Graduate – Teaching Assistant Role in a Primary School
Bootle, Liverpool
Earn up to £100/day | Full-Time | Term-Time Only


 

Are you a Psychology graduate who wants to make a real difference in the lives of children?

We’re looking for caring and enthusiastic graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in a warm and welcoming primary school in Bootle. You’ll support children on a 1:1 or small group basis, especially those with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.

This is a fantastic chance to gain real classroom experience, ideal for anyone looking to become an educational psychologist, teacher, or therapist in the future.

What we offer:

  • Full-time, long-term role in a supportive primary school
  • Additional CPD such as: Level 2 Diploma, Team Teach and Thrive Approach
  • SEN training to help you feel confident in the classroom
  • Flexible start dates – September or October 2025

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A Psychology (or similar) degree
  • Strong communication skills and a kind, patient nature
  • A calm and positive attitude
  • Experience with children is a bonus, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
