We are looking for eager, driven and passionate Teaching assistants to join one of our Secondary Pru’s in the Swinton area for young people who have been excluded from mainstream schools or are at risk of this. You will be supporting students who have behavioural and emotional needs, communication needs, Autism and delayed social development.

As a Teaching Assistant you will

Assist the class team in creating a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment

Provide 1:1 and small group sessions to aid students with their academic, emotional and communication needs

Support in behaviour management

Support students in accordance to their EHCP

Encourage students with their engagement and attainment

Build rapports with students to support their growth and development

You’ll be a great fit if you have

Prior experience working with children/adults with SEN needs

A nurturing, resilient and empathetic attitude

Great communication skills

Ability to build strong relationships with staff and students

Flexibility and adaptability

✅An enhanced DBS on the update service

✅At least two professional references covering the past 2 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
