We are looking for Passionate, Hard-working and committed Teaching Assistants to work in one our Primary SEN schools within the Trafford area where you will play a vital role in supporting young people who have varying conditions such as Autism, physical disabilities, language and communication delays and General Development Delay. This will be a fantastic opportunity for someone who is forward thinking and creative.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will
Attend to pupil’s needs and implement related personal programmes in accordance with their EHCP
Assist with hygiene, first aid and welfare matters
Encourage students to engage with others and activities
Support the class teacher in behaviour management and de-escalation
Support complex behaviour, sensory and behavioural needs
Build strong rapport with students
Assist in the general day-to-day classroom maintenance
A successful candidate will have
Prior experience working with children/adults who have complex sensory/physical/behavioural needs
A resilient, Patient, reliable and compassionate approach
The ability to work as a team player
The ability to be adaptable and flexible

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
