Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a teacher for a mixed Year 3/4 class in the heart of the community in the Caerphilly area. The school are looking for a teacher who has a caring and nurturing relationship with the pupils which supports and enhances the learning in the classroom. You must have a clear understanding of how children learn and be able to develop their literacy, numeracy, digital competency and thinking skills, whilst supporting and developing them socially and emotionally. The class consists of 30 pupils ranging in ages and abilities therefore the ideal candidate will have previous experience differentiating their lessons through careful planning and designing lessons to suit different learning styles.

Teaching Personnel are seeking a candidate who:

  • Is confident in teaching a mixed ability class.
  • Has high expectations of achievement and a commitment to raising standards
  • Demonstrates good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Can inspire and encourage children to reach their full potential through high quality learning experiences
  • Has the ability to use ICT effectively to deliver high quality teaching and
  • Has experience of assessment for learning strategies
  • Is adaptable, resourceful and innovative

What you will need:

  • A recognised Teaching qualification including QTS
  • Are registered with the education workforce council
  • To be confident in teaching in Key Stage 2 classroom setting.
  • To be a challenging and inspiring teacher.
  • To be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills.
