Do you have a passion for looking after and caring for people? Have you got experience of working with children with SEN?
Teaching Personnel work alongside several schools in Birmingham and are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants who have had experience in a SEN setting or a passion for helping others.
The ideal candidate will be able to:
- Work effectively as part of a team within the classroom ensuring that all the children are looked after and learning from the taught content
- Work 1:1 with children with SEN
- Work coherently with teachers in providing support for students
- Have a passion for assisting students
- Be enthusiastic and proactive in the classroom
- Have experience working 1:1 with children who have barriers to learning (ASD, ADHD, PMLD, VI, HI)
- Experience working within an SEN school setting or social care
- Promote and encourage independence and personal development
Candidates that have been successful within this setting have had some experience in any of the following:
- Scouts Leadership
- Sports Coaching
- Ex - Forces
- Challenging Behaviour Settings
- Health and Social Care Settings
- 1:1 Support
- SEN TA
- Educational Settings
- Psychology or criminology graduates

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
