Physics Teacher

In connection with one of our partner schools in Consett, Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Physics specialist to join a highly successful department where a member of staff is going onto maternity leave until the next academic year. The successful Teacher will join the department at the beginning of November, will be required to teach up to KS4. however there may be the opportunity to teach to KS5 depending on the candidate.

About the Role:

• Science Teacher role starting October 2019
• Teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience
• Full time role on a temporary basis with the opportunity to earn a permanent contract
• Earn up to GBP160 per day, depending on your experience and responsibilities

The successful Science Teacher will:

• Be a Science graduate with QTS or equivalent
• Have experience working as a Science Teacher in a secondary school
• Create fun and engaging lessons that allow all pupils to access the curriculum
• Be passionate about teaching Science and enthuse the children in your classes
• Willing to cooperate with the Science department to plan and develop schemes of work
• Be able to commit to a full time role with the opportunity of earning a permanent contract
