Physics Teacher required immediately for a coeducational Secondary school located in the Great Lever area of Bolton, this Secondary school that wish to appoint a teacher is smaller than the average secondary school with around 900 students on roll.

• Physics teaching position for a planned maternity gap within our schools science department
• The school wish to interview interested candidates during the October Half Term
• 12 month position with the view to contract extension dependant on your performance during this temporary period
• Pay in line with your direct pay scale (MPS/UPS - £23,720- £39,406)
• Teaching a timetable consisting of primarily Physics however you may be required to provide teaching cover to other areas within the schools Science department

** Although it is not essential it is beneficial if you are able to teach multiple areas of Science at either KS3 or GCSE level. **

The Head of Physics at our client school has highlighted that they would like to appoint a flexible Physics teacher that is able to hit the ground running from day one and is able to inspire learning amongst students in order to push for outstanding results at GCSE level. To be considered for this role you must hold QTS status specialising in Physics and have experience delivering Physics at KS3 and GCSE level. You must have a track record of obtaining excellent results at GCSE level or be able to showcase that you are able to achieve this through 'Outstanding' teaching practice.

Science at our client school is considered a Core subject which incorporates the building of all the key transferrable skills required for success in both Further and Higher Education. All students are required to study and gain qualifications in Science.

The school is located on the outskirts of Bolton and can be easily accessible via the M61. The school is in an ideal location if you are a user of public transport and can be easily accessed from surrounding areas Bury, Salford Wigan and Manchester.
