Teaching Personnel are looking for Dance and Drama enthusiasts, who have a passion for education to work with a variety of SEN schools and provisions across Nottinghamshire. We support schools with staffing gaps on a short term, long term and permanent basis.

Our SEN department works with schools that cater for children for special educational needs such as autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.

We are looking for teaching assistants to work with these pupils that have specific learning difficulties. The main work is in a setting of no more then around 8 pupils to a class, with a teacher, and a possibility of another teaching assistant.

The ideal persons must have a background in performing arts such as drama and dance and at least an understanding of special educational needs (no relevant experience is required), personable in their approach, calm and happy to work with children that have challenging behaviour.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
