About the Role
Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Team Member to join a welcoming secondary school in Daventry. This is an immediate-start position, ideal for someone passionate about student wellbeing, behaviour support, and helping young people thrive in their school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the pastoral and safeguarding needs of students across the school.
Build positive, professional relationships to encourage engagement and good behaviour.
Work closely with Heads of Year, safeguarding leads, and teaching staff.
Monitor attendance, behaviour, and wellbeing concerns.
Deliver 1:1 or small-group interventions when required.
Contribute to the overall positive ethos of the school.
Requirements:
Experience in a pastoral, youth work, behaviour support, or similar setting (school-based experience is desirable but not essential).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm, supportive, and professional under pressure.
A genuine commitment to supporting young people.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
