Job Advert: Humanities Teacher – Northampton (Agency Role)
Location: Northampton

Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Agency-based
About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a secondary school in Northampton to appoint a passionate and skilled Humanities Teacher. This full-time agency role is ideal for someone with a strong background in History and/or Geography, who is enthusiastic about engaging students and supporting their academic progress.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality Humanities lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students

Teach History and/or Geography in accordance with the national curriculum

Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and global awareness
-
Support pupil development both in and out of the classroom
-
Participate in extracurricular opportunities such as school trips, clubs, and enrichment activities
Candidate Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
-
Degree in a relevant Humanities subject (e.g. History, Geography)
-
Classroom experience teaching KS3 and KS4
-
Strong communication and classroom management skills
-
Commitment to safeguarding and creating an inclusive learning environment
