MFL Teacher – Northamptonshire

Location: Secondary schools across Northamptonshire
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Full-time, long-term (with potential to become permanent)
Pay: Paid to Teacher Pay Scale

Are you a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Northamptonshire?
Teaching Personnel is working closely with several welcoming and high-performing secondary schools across the county that are seeking skilled MFL Teachers specialising in French, Spanish, or German to join their teams from January 2026.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • A specialism in French, Spanish, or German

  • Excellent subject knowledge and a strong understanding of the secondary curriculum

  • Effective classroom management and communication skills

  • The ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities

  • Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level is desirable but not essential

  • A commitment to promoting high expectations and a passion for language learning

All pay rates quoted are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, though in some cases, the role may become permanent.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Safeguarding checks are conducted in line with DfE guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’, which may include an online search as part of our due diligence process.

We provide all registered candidates with FREE safeguarding, Prevent Duty, and child protection training. All applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid enhanced DBS check. Full assistance will be provided throughout the process.
