Rate: GBP25 - GBP35 per hour
Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside secondary schools within the London area who are requesting online tutors to deliver 1:1 and small group bespoke sessions to students in KS3/KS4 classes for GCSE Science.
The Opportunity
The position is flexible and the tutor is able to take on as many hours as they wish.
You will be working with pupils online teaching GCSE Science due to the current climate with COVID-19. The successful candidates will deliver lessons to pupils up to GCSE. This is a part-time position; however, hours can be increased.
Contract/Position Details:
- Location – Online – London Secondary Schools.
- Position – Online Science Tutoring
- Start date – ASAP
- Duration / Likely Duration - A minimum of a 6-week block of tuition
- Contract type – Temporary
- Full-time/part-time - Part time depending on candidate availability
- The rate of pay - GBP25 - GBP35 per hour
- Hours - Flexible working hours dependent on the availability of tutor and classes
Experience, Training and Qualifications of the Online English Tutor:
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications in Science
- Posses UK classroom teaching experience
- Be confident in teaching GCSE Science classes
- Have completed or willing to complete online safeguarding training (Teaching Personnel also provide this).
To be eligible for this role, the potential online tutors must:
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Provide a clear DBS certificate registered with the online update service
- Provide two professional references covering the past two years of work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
