Teaching Personnel are developing an NQT Pool to support those whose training may have been cut short due to COVID-19.

Newly Qualified Teachers will benefit from additional training materials, five free courses to support development and a dedicated consultant who will help you to find a suitable role from September 2020. We have excellent relationships with schools in the local area and whilst it may be difficult for Newly Qualified Teachers to showcase their skills with current restrictions in place, we have set up a virtual interviewing process with schools we work with and this has proven to be very successful.

The free courses once registered with Teaching Personnel includes six hours of content aligned to both the Teacher Standards and Early Career Framework and are designed to support the practice of Teachers. Courses offered below:

• Pedagogy and Practice
• Curriculum
• Special Educational Needs
• Assessment
• Professional Behaviours

Once registered our experienced and knowledgeable consultants vet and pre-screen the newly qualified teachers building up an in-depth profile of their skills and abilities, and discuss job options with them. We also cover off what additional support they may need and recommend training as required. We then take the profile we have built up (including a short video introduction) and speak to schools looking to recruit NQTs to find the perfect match between school and teacher. The school then interviews the candidates and has the option to make a permanent placement or offer a temporary placement for September to assess if the fit is right.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
