Role: Music and Performing Arts Teacher
Area: Caterham, Surrey
Start: September (or sooner for the right candidate)
Contract: Full time, Permanent

Salary: £31,350 - £46,179 per year (M1 - UPS2 Fringe) Plus £5,000 Welcome bonus For Qualified Teacher*
Hours: 40 hours per week

An Award-Winning SEN School Group, renowned for its commitment to excellence and inclusive education, is seeking a passionate and talented Music and Performing Arts Teacher to join the permanent staff at their outstanding facility in Caterham, Surrey.

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional educational experiences for students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and implement a dynamic curriculum in Music and Performing Arts that meets the needs of SEN students.
*Organize and lead performances and other school events that showcase student talent.
*Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
*Collaborate with other staff members to integrate music and performing arts into a holistic educational experience.
*Assess student progress and provide feedback and support to meet individual learning needs.
*Engage with parents and guardians to support student development and participation in school activities.

Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Music, Performing Arts, or a related field.
*Demonstrated experience in teaching Music and/or Performing Arts, preferably in an SEN setting.
*A strong understanding of the educational needs of students with a range of abilities and learning styles.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students and colleagues.
*Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in the field of SEN education.
*A proactive and innovative approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt techniques and strategies to benefit all students.
*Ability to plan, organize, and execute school events and performances.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
