Maths Teacher – Derby - Starting after February half term
The School
The school are committed to providing academic excellence within a caring and inclusive environment. Since their last Ofsted inspection in 2015, their GCSE results have gone from strength to strength. In 2019, 75% of their students achieved a good pass in GCSE English and 73% in GCSE Maths.
The school are seeking a Maths Teacher to join their department until July 2020, with the view to offering a permanent contract for the right person. As a Maths teacher you should have an excellent knowledge of the UK curriculum at KS3 and KS4.
The Role
Full Qualified (QTS) Maths teacher, Full Time, potential Temporary to Permanent. You must be a Maths Teacher with a teaching qualification or experience as a Maths Teacher in a UK classroom setting to students in KS3 and KS4. You will be passionate about teaching Maths and eager to make sure that your students are inspired and motivated to reach their full potential.
Role Requirements
- You must possess a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE)
- You must have a degree in music or a similar subject
- You must have experience as a Music Teacher in a UK classroom setting
