Maths teacher job (Northampton)

Are you a teacher of Maths looking for a new position at successful and popular school in Northampton? I am currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Northampton who has been graded 'good' by Ofsted in their previous two inspections. As a kind, welcoming and hard-working community, both students and staff alike can confidently claim they strive for excellence in all aspects. There is a profound sense of dedication to further improvement as a result of effective teaching and learning, as well as high expectations for students. As well as successful students, the school also have a team of high-quality staff who are capable of challenging young learners and helping them to achieve their full capability. As a teacher of Maths at this school, you will be surrounded by a large and supportive team who are passionate about developing as both individuals and as a collective. You will be teaching Mathematics on a full time basis to key stage 3 and 4 students who are working at a variety of different levels. The department is fully equipped with resources and relevant technology in order to facilitate outstanding curriculum delivery. The school are passionate about ongoing professional development and have a history of successfully supporting staff into middle and senior leadership roles. The position will commence at the end of October.

Ideal applicants will be:

  • Capable of planning and delivering dynamic lessons which engage effectively with students and cater to all ability levels
  • Able to manage the classroom and behaviour confidently
  • Efficiently tracking results in order to ensure students make progress within the subject
