Mathematics teacher required for small mixed comprehensive Secondary academy on the border of Salford and Warrington.
Our client Secondary school wish to appoint a teacher of Mathematics to join their department on a full time basis following the Easter break. This position will be temporary until the end of the academic year, with the opportunity to secure a permanent post in the new academic year (2018/2019).
- Full time Mathematics teaching position, Easter 2018 start
- Teaching across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four with planning and marking responsibilities
- Pay in line with teaching scale point (£22,917 - £38,633 per annum)
- Opportunity to secure a permanent position from September 2018
- Located between Salford and Warrington, accessible via the M62 Motorway
"Due to a restructural shift within the Maths department, we require the addition of a Mathematics teacher from April 2018. This position will be full time, and result in a permanent position for the successful Maths teacher. It is essential that the incoming Maths teacher can provide examples of outstanding teaching across the ability ranges to progress in this position." Head of Maths
Our client Secondary school is located on the Salford/Warrington border near to the M62 motorway, and has a local train station directly outside the school gates. This newly built school currently has fewer than 800 pupils on roll, and with the facilities in place, the incoming teacher of Mathematics will have the tools available to create dynamic and inclusive lessons. Since academising, the school has made changes to learning spaces, incorporating open areas for collaborative sessions.
