Make a Real Difference as a Maths Tutor in Nottinghamshire

Do you have a strong grasp of Maths and a desire to help young people succeed? Whether you're an experienced educator or someone with a passion for numbers and problem-solving, Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated Maths Tutors across Nottinghamshire to support students in reaching their academic goals.

About the Role

We’re looking for tutors to deliver 1:1 and small group Maths tuition for pupils in Key Stages 2 to 4. Your role will involve providing targeted support to help learners build confidence, fill knowledge gaps, and improve their understanding of key mathematical concepts.

Your sessions will focus on:

  • Core numeracy and arithmetic

  • Algebra, geometry, ratios, and other curriculum areas

  • Problem-solving strategies and exam preparation

  • Encouraging confidence and independent thinking

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from teachers, graduates, tutors, and others with experience supporting young learners.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience working with students in a classroom or tuition setting

  • Strong communication and teaching skills

  • A patient, engaging, and adaptable approach

  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
