TP Tutors is on a mission to make education accessible and impactful for all. We specialise in providing one-to-one and small group tuition to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

With rising demand across Nottinghamshire, we're looking for committed and adaptable Maths Teachers to join our team and support students who benefit from personalised learning.

About the Role

You’ll work directly with learners who need tailored support in Maths, often outside of mainstream classrooms. This role is ideal for teachers who are passionate about helping students overcome barriers and build confidence in their numeracy skills.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, individualised Maths tuition (1:1 or small groups)

• Adapt teaching strategies to suit diverse learning needs and abilities

• Break down challenging mathematical concepts into accessible steps

• Provide clear written feedback after each session

• Travel to learners’ homes or educational settings within Nottinghamshire

• Maintain excellent safeguarding and child protection practices

What We’re Looking For

• Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum (preferably up to Key Stage 4)

• Experience working with SEND and/or SEMH students

• Confident in creating a supportive and positive learning environment

• Strong communication and lesson planning skills

• Up-to-date safeguarding training

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
